• HAC-014 Run the washer empty once a month on a hot cycle with 1 cup of white vinegar.
• HAC-015 Leave the washer door and the dryer door ajar after use to prevent mold.
• HAC-016 Balance heavy loads: wash heavy items alone or with only a few light items.
• HAC-017 Inspect the supply hoses behind the washer every year and replace rubber hoses with braided steel ones.
• HAC-018 Use only high-efficiency (HE) detergent in a front-loading machine.

Repair update 2026-09-20 (source HAC-025)

• HAC-025 (2026-09-20) Drain pump replaced: a standing puddle was left after the cycle finished. Part WP-4500 installed by the appliance repair service, 30-day parts warranty. Before the repair the pump also caused a loud hum during the spin cycle.
